NiNo PurP, an artist from New Orleans, started writing poetry for a few years before getting the interest of words with musical instruments. NiNo and a couple friends from college started a rap group called "Da g.0.0.d.FeLLaZ (Going Our Own Direction) in 2008. Three of the four creators of the brand went a different route, leaving PurP as president of the team. Later down the the road, PurP hooked up with a few others and dropped a group project called Feel g.0.0.d. Muzik featuring NiNo PurP and g.0.0.d.FeLLa Boom. Soon, NiNo PurP released a project entitled W.A.C.K. (Way above cool kids). W.A.C.K. was the introduction to PurP's solo career. By the following year, PurP was ready to take his career to another level. He dropped two more mixtapes, PurP Muzik and #PurpleReign.
By then, NiNo had a different sound and vibe, PurP Muzik was slowly starting to show his identity to his fans. Using the "thumbs down" as a logo shows exactly where the grind started from and points to the place where failure leads you. From there PurP Muzik became the new brand for the new found artist NiNo PurP. Now he's teaming up with Hut Studios and Curveball Ent. PurP released his single Rider ft. Shorty(Mr.Tipsy) & Miss Ashley Renay, which can be heard on the PurP Muzik app. (app can be downloaded on apple & android markets)
