Future's Dirty Sprite 2 impacted earlier this weekend, and the world hasn't been the same since. You can't go fifteen minutes without seeing the #DS2 hashtag, hearing ""Rotation" get rotation (Metro Boomin' + Southside), or dying at the hilariously outrageous #FutureHive memes. It's been a crazy few days, but with this new announcement, you can see it's only the beginning. Taking to Instagram, Future has revealed that he'll be hosting four shows this week – costing the fan absolutely nothing. That's right, as a salute to fans each show will be free.* Check the announcement below and lookout for details, coming soon.
The lineup for the 2015 Austin City Limits music festival has been revealed.
The annual Austin City Limits music festival will be taking place once again this October, and the lineups for both weekends have been revealed today. The fest isn't exactly heavy on rap performers, but there are certainly some heavy hitters in the mix, with Drake, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Chance The Rapper, Run The Jewels, and the quickly ascending Kehlani confirmed as performers. The even will be going down Zilker Park on teh weekends of October 2nd and 9th. Tickets are available now and can be purchased here. This is yet notch on Drake's festival belt this year, who'll be performing at Wireless, Governor's Ball, Landmark, and his own OVO fest, not to mention his two weekend stint at Coachella a few weeks back. Check out the full lineup above. Date: 5/7/15
@ Department Store (467 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30312) Doors open at 9pm Music by: DJ Mike Mars Hosted by: Herm Shock & Bria Janelle If you're not a TIDAL subscriber, you might be one now. JAY Z has just announced that he will be playing an exclusive B-Side concert on May 13. The concert—which will only be open to attended by TIDAL subscribers—will include songs Hov has never performed and will be streamed exclusively on TIDAL.com.
To gain access to the concert, members will have to create a playlist and share them on Twitter to be entered into the concert for a chance to win two free tickets to the upcoming show being held in New York City. Your tweets have to include the #TIDALXJAYZ hashtag and you must be 18+ to enter. What songs do you think Hov should perform at the concert? It's festival season, if you haven't noticed, and one of the best lineups of all I've seen was announced today.
Osheaga, which is held in Montreal, has major headliners and performers across many genres. From now on, I'm calling it the French-Canadian Lollapalooza. It's held the same days as Lollapalooza, as well: July 31 - August 2. Kendrick Lamar, Florence + the Machine, Black Keys, Weezer, Nas, FKA Twigs, Run the Jewels, Young the Giant, Schoolboy Q, Toro y Moi and Glass Animals are just some of the over 100 acts performing over the three, so if you're in Canada, get your ass to this festival. Or at least buy me a ticket, let me stay at your place and eat your food. Please? C'mon. Where's this Canadian hospitality I hear so much about? Purchase tickets, which include three levels of entry, on the festival's website, and most importantly, bring a smile and a positive attitude. No one likes a Debbie Downer. It's official, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally square off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2nd.
"I am glad my decision to meet with Manny and discuss making this fight happen helped get the deal done," Mayweather said, referring to a chance Jan. 27 meeting with Pacquiao at a Miami Heat game followed by a private meeting after the game. "Giving the fans what they want to see is always my main focus. This will be the biggest event in the history of the sport. Boxing fans and sports fans around the world will witness greatness on May 2. I am the best ever, TBE, and this fight will be another opportunity to showcase my skills and do what I do best, which is win. Manny is going to try to do what 47 before him failed to do, but he won't be successful. He will be number 48." "I am very happy that Floyd Mayweather and I can give the fans the fight they have wanted for so many years," Pacquiao said. "They have waited long enough and they deserve it. It is an honor to be part of this historic event. I dedicate this fight to all the fans who willed this fight to happen and, as always, to bring glory to the Philippines and my fellow Filipinos around the world." Now the question is.... who do y'all got!? |
