Earlier this evening, Chief Keef got us all hype for his new tape Bang 3 by dropping records featuring A$AP Rocky and Mac Miller, and now the full thing has arrived. This comes as a bit of a surprise, as it was initially scheduled for release on August 18th.
Dropping two years since the last installment in the Bang series, the new tape features 15 new tracks, and has guest appearances from Rocky, Miller and Jenn Em. Response to the two aforementioned tracks has been surprisingly glowing (pun intended), so it should be interesting to see if people fuck with the full tape.

R. Kelly announces the release date to his forthcoming 14th studio album. The King of R&B will release his upcoming album titled, Buffet, on September 25. Kellz describes the album as catering to a diverse fanbase:
“You got hip-hop, you got old school music with the ‘Step in the Name of Love’ type music, ‘Happy People’ type of music, then you have traditional R. Kelly sensuous, sexual music. It’s just a variety of things.” Kellz will play a headlining show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on the same day the album arrives in stores. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.
It's hard to believe this is the Migos' debut studio album, but the trio's Young Rich Nation has arrived. Formerly titled Y.R.N.: Tha Album, Migos changed the name of the album most likely due the record label's ability to market the album based on what "YRN" stands for.
The album only has one official single, "One Time," though songs like "Pipe It Up" and "Recognition" have leaked. Young Rich Nation has just two features -- Chris Brown and Young Thug (who was on one of my favorite Migos songs, "YRN") -- and has production from the likes of Zaytoven, Deko, Murda Beatz and more. Buy Young Rich Nation on iTunes, and stream it below on Spotify.
It seems like ages ago DeJ Loaf's "Try Me" was set on repeat while my friends groaned in the car. Eventually, they stopped groaning and started singing along to the infectious tune. That was just last summer. Now, the Detroit emcee has been on every hook east to west (Kid Ink's "Be Real," Game's "Ryda," Chevy Woods' "All Said & Done") and a debut EP – her first project on Columbia Records – to show for all the hard work.
At five tracks, And See That's The Thing includes the previously-released "Back Up" with Big Sean, the Future-assisted "Hey There" that dropped earlier today, and three solo songs. The original tracklistDeJ shared on Instagram yesterday featured six tracks, but "Butterflies" is seemingly absent from the retail release.
It's been quite the journey, but Migos' debut album has finally arrived. Streaming on Pandora a week before it's July 31st release date, Yung Rich Nation comes in at 15 tracks – including past singles, "Origin", "One Time", "Pipe It Up" and "Spray the Champagne" – with features from Chris Brown and Young Thug.
Check out the Thugger-assisted "Cocaiña" below and peep the Pandora premiere of Yung Rich Nation here. If you're digging what you hear, hit iTunes for a pre-order. UPDATE: If Pandora's not your thing, you can listen via Soundcloud below.
Jilly From Philly's back.
One of the most prevalent voices entire the entire world of R&B, Jill Scott is a multiple Grammy-winning songstress whose work has left an indelible impact in music. Her first new body of work since 2011'sThe Light of Sun, Jill shines brightly over the course of the 16 tracks that compile WOMAN. Punctuated by the singles "Fools Gold" and"You Don't Know," fall back in love with her angelic sonics below. After warning detractors to "Back Up" with Big Sean a couple weeks back, DeJ Loaf revealed plans to release her new EP, #AndSeeThatsTheThing, sometime this summer. For now, the Detroit native is offering up a look at the official artwork – which XXL drooled over, claiming it resembles "a fine painting you would hang in your house."
“I wanted the cover art for #AndSeeThatsTheThing to be a self photo that needed no explanation. I wanted the people to understand everything in one photo and kind of be like ‘exactly, I get it’ because the title itself to me, means there’s no going around this. This is it, I’m here to stay. Different Flavors, different style. Anything I wanna do I can do it." No official date has been announced just yet, but you can catch DeJ on the road with Nicki Minaj on The PinkPrint Tour.

What more can be said about Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn that hasn't escaped the mouths of a legion of #FutureHive fans or written by journalists? At this point Future himself seems bemused by everything, and with all good reason. With his career floundering after his marginally-received (at best) second major-label release Honest, he returned to his mixtape roots and unloaded multiple armaments of acclaimed mixtapes which not only kick-started his career once again but has arguably made him one of the most popular rappers out currently.
